Sufficient Network signal strength is of paramount importance for a GSM gateway to operate correctly. Our engineers use sophisticated signal measuring equipment and, on occasions; Spectrum Analysis to establish the quality of GSM signal. A GSM Gateway needs around 4 bars and above on your mobile telephone, however this is not an accurate method of knowing for certain that all is ok.

In the event of there being insufficient signal present we are able to install external ‘Yagi’ antennas to bring a good signal directly to the gateway.

We would strongly recommend that a site survey is performed to correctly establish signal strength.
